Upon reading some reviews we were eager to try Clay Dawgs. We were extremely disappointed when we did. The dogs were ready before we even finished paying. These are not fresh, but probably sitting in a steamer, and too long at that. The sauerkraut had no taste to it. After their joint successful partnership with Caldwell County BBQ, Clay and Susan, along with Spencer and Alisa Caldwell have done it again. They saw an opportunity in the heart of Gilbert that would be perfect for the hot dog concept. They completely remodeled the drive-thru restaurant and Clay Dawgs was born.
